Seth Kaper-dale is an American Protestant pastor for the Reformed Church of Highland Park in New Jersey. He also is an activist who ran in the New Jersey gubernatorial election under the left-wing Green Party. He further rose to prominence in 2012 with the national attention being directed towards his church and congregation due to his church becoming a place of sanctuary and refuge for Indonesian immigrants that were confronted with the possibility of being deported. Additionally, in 2017 he began to intervene against a diversionary and preemptive strike hosted by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in order to protect people from being deported.
