Quo Vadis is the student run newspaper of Middlesex College.
Subject:
This issue covers the locating of the WWI buried munitions on the campus. The Army Corps of Engineers was removing these "artillery rounds or Booster Adaptors". "The munitions buried in the land between North Hall and East Hall Annex date back to World War II when the College was the Raritian Arsenal. Over 1000 munitions have also been detected near Raritian Hall . . . [VP] Hilf explained that the munitions were buried during World War I under the ground that now occupies North and East Halls. During World War II, an Army hospital was built in the vicinity of these two halls."
